At Oatland Island Wildlife Center

Sunday, August 25th, 2019

1:30pm-3:00pm

We are very proud to present Friends of Oatland Island's new lecture series!!

Pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and other insects, are essential to our environment. The ecological service they provide is necessary for the reproduction of more than 85% of the world's flowering plants and is fundamental to agriculture and natural ecosystems.

Learn how to attract native pollinators to your coastal communities. Keren Giovengo, EcoScapes Program Manager, will speak on the diversity and importance of native pollinators and how to select, source, and design pollinator-friendly native plant habitats.
