Enrichment Saturday with the Cougars - March 11
Did You Know -- Because cougar cubs are taught by their mothers to hunt, in captivity they need additional enrichment from the Animal Care staff to ensure they are receiving the cognitive and sensory benefit of a varied feeding routine.

About the Event
This event allows the public to see some of the special work that often goes on behind-the-scenes at Oatland. This is an opportunity to witness how the Animal Care Staff provides special treats and activities to help hone the animals’ natural behaviors. Adults and children will participate in creating enrichment material for our resident cougars and will watch Olympia and Rainier experience their special creations.
- Tickets are limited to 10 people per session
- $20.00 per person, for all ages. All attendees must have a ticket.
- All participants must be at least 4 years of age. Minors must be accompanied by a paid adult.
- Your ticket price includes admission to Oatland for the day, so feel free to stay and see the other animals after your program.
