Enrichment Saturday - Snake
For snakes, cognitive enrichment can be as simple as placing new items into their habitat for them to investigate, or placing the snake in a novel environment to explore. You can also provide mental stimulation by providing puzzles for them to solve or mazes for them to figure out.

About the Event
This event allows the public to see some of the special work that often goes on behind-the-scenes at Oatland. This is an opportunity to witness how the Animal Care Staff provides special treats and activities to help hone the animals’ natural behaviors. Adults and children will participate in creating enrichment material for one of our resident snakes and will watch the snake experience their special creations.
